Who are business angels and how can they help start-ups to scale-up?

This 60-minute session covers business angels and co-investment options, and outlines how a savvy entrepreneur can access this kind of finance.

Angel investment and similar alternative finance models can provide the much-needed capital that companies need to take them from start-up to scale-up. Angel investors and co-investment systems can help to “bridge the gap” between the early stages of a start-up and the point where a venture capital firm gets involved.

Find out what types of funding models are available, how to find angel investors, and how to gain access to this kind of capital through our webinar on November 21. We aim to answer all of your queries through this interactive event. No question is too big or too small!

The webinar will be presented by Luigi Amati, CEO of META Group, which encompasses META Ventures, and President of Business Angels Europe.

What will be covered

  • Presentation of new and existing co-investment opportunities
  • Practical tips on how to engage Business Angels into your next round of financing

With more than twenty-five years’ worth of expertise in research, innovation and venture capital, Luigi Amati has a unique perspective on the overall entrepreneurial ecosystem. Luigi’s diverse experience as a researcher, an entrepreneur, an ecosystem-builder and finally an angel investor means that he has a thorough understanding of all stages of the “knowledge to market” journey and entrepreneurial life-cycle.
